Falken Tires fires up the action at Red Bull Car Park Drift in Jordan

Red Bull Car Park Drift brought its roaring engines, spinning tires and pumped up drivers to cheering crowds in Amman, Jordan on October 14, and Falken Tires was there to add to the thrilling action, too.

Sixteen drivers were in contention to claim the title of ‘Jordan’s King of Drift’ and each showed their drifting skills as they went for glory on the smoke-filled floor of the Expo Land. Their goal was to impress the judges and champion drifter Abdo Feghali, while at the same time stunning the thousands of fans watching in the stands.

Mohammed Shaker managed to master the course and its tricky manoeuvres to wow the judges and emerge as the winner of the Jordanian leg of Red Bull Car Park Drift, while Ra’fat Haroun and Ahmad Al Jabali finished just behind him in second and third respectively.

All the performances on the night were mesmerising, and we were excited to be able to share the experience with a number of lucky winners of our Facebook competition. Several winners were given VIP and Grandstand tickets to enjoy the drift dramas, while one lucky winner got to sit side by side with Abdo Feghali for a once-in-a-lifetime co-pilot drive with him.

Our booth at the event also gave drift fans plenty to cheer about. Racing enthusiasts got to test their motoring skills by stepping into the driver’s seat on PS4 game Project CARS, while all visitors to our booth received fabulous branded goodies, as well as 10% discount vouchers redeemable against Falken Tires.

Next stop on the Red Bull Car Park Drift circuit is Muscat, Oman on October 28 and we will once again be there to revel in the action on and off the track, be sure to come and visit our Falken Tires booth!
