Jun 05, 2017
We are pleased to announce that Team FALKEN’s Yoshihide Muroya has claimed his second straight victory at the third race of this year’s Red Bull Air Race World Championship 2017, which was held this past June 3-4 weekend at Makuhari Seaside Park (Mihama Ward, Chiba, Japan). Since 2015, we have been proud to sponsor Mr. Muroya, who holds the distinction of being the only race pilot from Asia competing in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship.
Mr. Muroya’s plane was bedecked in FALKEN colors from the second race which was held in San Diego, California. And in Chiba, where he won his first ever victory last year, he demonstrated outstanding aerial speed and precision in the qualifying and final to claim his second consecutive victory in this season. These two consecutive wins have catapulted him to 1st place overall in this year’s racing season. With five races left in the season, we are looking forward to seeing even greater success from Mr. Muroya in the coming months.
