Falken Tires powers up the action at Red Bull Car Park Drift in Jordan

There was billowing smoke, roaring engines and the loud cheers of over 10,000 spectators as Red Bull Car Park Drift enthralled motor enthusiasts in Amman, Jordan on 13th October 2017. And Falken Tires was on hand to continue the high octane excitement away from the track.

The event, which took place at Amman Exhibition Park, saw 16 drifters all vying for the title of Jordan’s King of Drift for 2017. Each of the drivers demonstrated their superb skills on the night, skilfully maneuvering around the tough track and performing tricks and stunts to impress the four judges, and drift legend Abdo Feghali.

After three intense rounds Othman Tikriti emerged triumphant, edging out Mohammad Nawfal and Omar Al Kukhun for the title and a place in the final. Tikriti topped the leaderboard with a score of 389 points out of a possible 400, with Nawfal placing second on 371 points and Al Kukhun third with 348 points.

While fans packed out the exhibition park, four Falken Tires followers were lucky enough to have couple grandstand passes each after entering a competition on our Facebook page. We also gave one even luckier follower the chance to experience the buzz of the drift track for himself, accompanying Abdo Feghali on a thrilling spin around the arena.

And the excitement didn’t end there, motorsports fan flocked to our booth beside the grandstand area, scooping up goodie bags containing fantastic Falken merchandise and vouchers providing 20% off on purchase of Falken Tires.

With the Red Bull Car Park Drift 2017 final in December drawing ever closer, we can’t wait to see what kind of show Oman’s drifters put on for us on October 27th 2017. We’ll see you there!
