Falken Tires adds to the excitement at Red Bull Car Park Drift in Bahrain

Smoke, roaring engines, cheering fans and edge of the seat excitement was the order of the day as the Red Bull Car Park Drift series rolled into Bahrain on November 12, and Falken Tires was there to play its part in exhilarating day, too.

Returning to Bahrain for the first time since 2013, the event was held in conjunction with Bahrain International Circuit, and it was a fan favourite who was crowned Bahrain’s ‘King of Drift’. Salman Abdullah beat off strong competition from six other drivers to take the Bahrain title for the fifth time. With a final total of 378 points, Salman’s win was celebrated by the enthusiastic crowd, who had enjoyed the thrilling action throughout the day.

Drift legend and Red Bull athlete Abdo Feghali was once again tasked with creating a challenging track for the drivers to battle it out on, and he didn’t disappoint, with the sensational course providing plenty of demanding twists and turns for drivers and much high-octane drama for the watching fans.

But it wasn’t just on the track that motoring enthusiasts got to experience the excitement of racing, at our Falken Tires booth, we set up PS4 consoles with the Project CARS game and gave visitors the chance to take a driving challenge of their own. Visitors to our booth were also given a selection of fantastic Falken Tires branded goodies and discount vouchers providing 40% off their next purchase of Falken Tires.

Continuing with our exciting Facebook competition series, we also handed out a number of exclusive entry passes to several winners prior to the event, while one lucky winner experienced the ride of his life on a co-pilot drive with Abdo Feghali.

With just one race to go until the series final in Oman in December, we can guarantee that the next event, which takes place at Ajman Port in the UAE on 25 November will be a cracker. We’re already firing our engines to makes tracks to the UAE, we’ll meet you there at our booth!
